Humble Beginnings
The roots of Aging Guardians stem from a deep personal journey. I was born in Vietnam and, after the loss of my parents, was adopted into a caring family in Iowa. Growing up in a tight-knit Midwestern community, I always dreamed of making a meaningful impact. My path led me to Portland, OR, where my passion for supporting older adults truly came to life. Aging Guardians was founded with a clear mission: to provide compassionate, personalized care for those who once cared for us. Life brings many changes, but with the right support, no one has to face them alone.
The Path To Care
During the COVID-19 pandemic, my involvement in senior care became a pivotal part of my life. As a Wellness Director, I found great joy in helping older adults improve their physical fitness, but I soon realized that true well-being goes far beyond just staying active. It’s about fostering meaningful connections, building a sense of community, and addressing individual care needs in a holistic way. This realization inspired me to create Aging Guardians, a service designed to support older adults through social engagement, personalized care, and physical well-being—ensuring no one has to navigate life’s changes alone.
